Do you remember Roxanne Shante? She was a rapper in the 1980's...a darn good one from what I remember. She was only 15 years old at the time, which always blew me away. Well, we know the obstacles that people who grow up with little to nothing have to overcome just to make ends meet, let alone attempt achievement of any kind.
